Jersey Shore native Kami Zonin is the fearless leader behind Zonin Wealth Management. A little-known fact about her is that she actually began her career with the desire to help others by becoming a nurse. Kami quickly realized, rather squeamishly, that her passion for helping people would be better suited in the world of financial services. As an assistant in a local planning firm, and while studying for her securities license, Kami’s interest in helping clients only intensified. Once licensed her keen hunger for knowledge led her to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA) designations to ensure she delivered the best client experience possible. With a solid knowledge base in place Kami set out to build her own practice and in 2010 she acquired the firm where she began her career from her long-time mentor. And she never looked back.
After living in Monroe, NJ for 15 years, Kami has come full circle and again lives at the Jersey Shore, with her husband, Darren, as well as their adored rescue cats – (Don’t judge-Beersie, Bijou, Sasha, Ashley and Sam). As avid lovers of anything outdoors they enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Whether it’s hiking, snorkeling or playing golf Kami can usually be found enjoying all that life has to offer while always keeping her valued client relationships near. Her passion for helping others extends to the local food bank where she volunteers her time whenever possible. When she’s not devoting her time she’s a champion with her fundraising efforts.
